Edited and compiled by Edward Strahan, this large format volume was published in 1880 by Gebbie and Barrie of Philadelphia, USA. The Art Treasures of America is subtitled 'Choicest works of art in the public and private collections of North America'. It has 60 full page photogravure plates, 30 full page engravings and many more illustrations incorporated into the text.

The volume is folio sized and is in good used condition overall, except that the rear board is detached. The half leather binding is well worn and there are small tears to the spine and front board covering. The text block and plates are very good, with no defects.
