This is Volume III, and covers Cumberland, the Isle of Man and Derbyshire. Half leather with marbled boards. The spine has five bands, two of which contain leather labels with gilt tiling. The spine is rather worn, and the titling faded. The spine margins are worn, with a 3 cm split at the upper front margin. The edges of the covers are rubbed in places, and the corners are bumped and worn. The front and rear hinges are weakening. There is a heavy stain that affects the lower half of the frontispiece and its verso, the half title page and its verso, the tile page and its verso, and pages 3-6 inclusive. There is some tanning of the pages, and light scattered foxing. The page edges have some spotting. The text block is otherwise clean and tightly bound.
