The Death of the Messiah : From Gethsemane to the Grave - Volumes 1 and 2

£45.00

Product description

Judging from art, music and literature, Jesus' suffering and death have captured more attention than any other area of his life. From the vast literature devoted to the passion, Brown has selected insights and combined them with his own judgements to produce this work. He avoids hypothetical reconstructions of what preceded the Gospels and concentrates on what the four evangelists actually wrote about Jesus from the moment he left the Last Supper until he was buried. An extremely thorough and detailed commentary.

Very good condition. Black cloth boards with bronze coloured titles and design to spine. Boards show some shelfwear and minor marks but no significant damage. Some marks on page edges but clean internally with bright text and tight binding. No obvious evidence of use. No dw.
