The Diary of Samuel Pepys

£45.00

Product description

A new (1995) and complete transcription, edited by R. C. Latham and W. Matthews. Eleven volumes, covering the years 1660 to 1669 inclusive in nine volumes, with Volume ten, a Companion edition and Volume eleven, an Index. Paperback edition published in 1995. Used paperbacks all in good condition, or better. All show minor signs of shelf wear externally, particularly slight grubbiness to the bottom and fore edges of text blocks. Volumes I, III, IV, V, VII, VIII, IX, and X have creases to their spines. Volume I has creases to the top fore edge corner of the front cover. Volume IV has a bump and crease to the top edge of the front cover. All are clean internally with tight bindings, but Volume X has a small piece torn from the top of the half title page (presumably where there was a previous owner's name), and there is a discrete note here of the date (Christmas 1996).
