The History of a Man

£9.99

Product description

Published 1898 with presentation plate on front pastedown dated 1899. The dark red boards have gold lettering to the spine. Some rubbing and slight staining, plus a small piece broken away at the top of spine (about 3cm across and half cm down), but otherwise the boards are in good condition consistent with the age of the book.

The binding is slightly slack. The front and back free endpapers are browned, but mostly the pages are clean. Someone has used a paperclip and left it in, in the past as the shape is rusted onto a few of the pages. Also some foxing on title page.

It is difficult to tell if this book is non fiction or fiction - it reads as autobiography but the subject of the book is not revealed.
