The History of Freemasonry Volumes I-III by Robert Freke Gould

£125.00

Product description

Three volumes formerly belonging to J. W. Consterdine-Chadwick, himself a Mason, as penned at the beginning of each volume (pictured).

Subtitled:
'The antiquities, symbols, constitutions, customs, etc.
Embracing an investigation of the records of the organisations of the Fraternity in England, Scotland, Ireland, British Colonies, France, Germany, and the United States.'

Unfortunately the front and back board of volume I have detached and the spine is absent. Volumes II and III have scuffed boards/spines and the spine is becoming detached in areas but currently holds. There is evidence of foxing throughout the three volumes but this has not affected the readability of the books.

Although in need of restoration, these volumes could be of historical value to those with an interest in the history of the Masons.

Extremely heavy and fragile items requiring courier delivery.
