The Hobyahs

£50.00

Product description

Little Girl Lucy lived in a little old house in the great big wood. All was well - until one night the Hobyahs came. This version of the old tale by Joseph Jacobs is written with spirit and provides a happy ending thanks to Little Dog Turpie.

The story is retold and illustrated by Val Biro, best known for his series of tales about Gumdrop, his Vintage car. This Oxford version was first published in 1985.

The book cover is very good, with some light indentation marks and slight bumping to corners and spine ends. A small old label is fixed near to the rear lower right corner. The internal pages are in clean, bright, fine condition, superbly drawn and colourful.
