THE KENTON KRONICLES: A Biography of Modern America's Man of Music, Stan Kenton by Steven D Harris (Signed by Author)

£29.99

Product description

Hardback, signed by author to first free end page. Good condition. Binding sound and pages clean and unmarked with the exception of page 183 which has a small brown mark at the bottom on the right hand side of the page. This is a used item, the top and bottom of the spine are slightly worn as are the edges of the covers. The dustjacket has a mylar protector, 402 pages, indexed and illustrated. The front cover of the dustjacket is a little faded as is the spine whereas the back cover appears to retain the original colour. There are a few light scratch marks to both front and back covers on the mylar protector and it is also not spotlessly clean. This work covers Stan Kenton's youth and growing period to his rise to become America's top box-office musical attraction. It includes historic photographs and interviews from Kenton's many talented musicians and singers. The book contains photographs, illustrations, filmography, and an index. Also, included is the itinerary of The Stan Kenton Orchestra from 1940 to 1978. A heavy item for UK shipping only 1.8kg. Stock image.
