Product description

Thirteen bound volumes of The Lady’s Realm, dated between November 1896 and October 1908, as detailed below. All volumes bound in burgundy embossed cloth, with gilt decorated titling to the front board and spine. All volumes have some light wear and rubbing to edges and corners; crushing to head/tail of spines; some yellowed pages; foxing to page edges and scattered foxing (heavy in places) throughout; and are tightly bound (although some volumes have a loosened backstrip). Overall, the books are in good or very good condition, but subject to the following:
Vol 1 (Nov 1896-Apr 1897) shows Vol 9 on the spine.
Vol 7 (Nov 1899-Apr 1900) has no volume number on the spine. Pages 621 to 628 are partially detached.
Vol 8 (May to Oct 1900) has no volume number on the spine. Pages 635 to 642 are detached.
Vol 9 (Nov 1900-Apr 1901) has no volume number on the spine.
Vol 14 (no date shown) contains no title page or index. Weakened hinge between pages 614/5.
Vol 15 (no date shown) contains no title page or index. Lower corners of pages 285 to 292 torn out from hinge.
Vol 16 (no date shown) contains no title page or index.
Vol 18 (May to Oct 1905) “Naughty Mrs Gordon”, “A Modern Society Novel” bound at the end.
Vol 19 (Nov 1905-Apr 1906) contains no title page or index (which are misbound into Vol 21).
Vol 21 (no date shown) contains the title page and index for Vol 19, only part contents of Vol 21 (pages 315-792) and part contents of Vol 25 (pages 2-288 + 1908 Supplement to Christmas number, "The End and the Beginning"). Remnant of large tape mark pages 473/4.
Vol 22 (May to Oct 1907).
Vol 23 (Nov 1907-Apr 1908) includes Dec 1907 Supplement between pp 286/7. A large portion of page 91 has been cut out.
Vol 24 (May to October 1908) pages 121-240 misbound between pages 352/3.
