Back paste-down and end-paper, chipped on the bottom edges, sunned, hinge between the two sprung. Flyleaf's, foxed chipped at the bottom. 1st 8 pages almost loose from the text block. Title-page, stained, foxed chipped loos from text block. Following two pages almost loose from the text block. Most pages are either stained or foxed.

This beautiful Victorian Family Bible is a lovely keepsake item, lavishly illustrated with engravings throughout. The front has family record pages with gilt detail, and the full colour title page is bright and clean. It has been translated from the original of Rev. L. C. Businger, by the Reverend Richard Brennan, A.M.

Darlington is one of the largest Oxfam shops in the country. We sell a large and varied range of good quality mens, womens and childrenswear in a range of labels from High Street to Designer. We also have a range of beautiful Bridalwear and Retro clothing, and a huge choice of accessories to compliment any outfit and occasion. 

On the first floor we have a large books and music room with comfortable seating provided, so that you can take your time while browsing and pick the perfect item. We have a vast and ever changing selection of Homewares and Bric-a-Brac, from bargain items to antiques and everything in between. We stock Fairtrade food and drinks, gifts and cards all year round, and we have an amazing Christmas range, with gifts to suit all tastes and budgets. 

We also run an Online Shop from our Online Suite, sending high quality clothing, books and records all over the world. We have a Facebook page, full of information on what we do in store and how your support helps fight poverty all over the world. 

We have a large and varied team of volunteers, and we are always looking for new people to join our team. We have dozens of opportunities, including Customer Service, Stock Handling, Social Media, Online Sales, Book Sales, and many, many more.
