Mammals, with 577 illustrations from photographs including 13 colour plates, Vol 2 Birds, Reptiles and Amphibians, fishes, Jointed animals, Molluscs etc. with 643 illustrations from photographs including 12 colour plates. Gift inscription in both volumes, on ffep. Both in good green cloth with gilt and black decoration and titles, with a little wear to extremities commensurate with age. Vol 1 front hinge slightly weak. Heavy set.
