Hardback; 220 x 275 mm; blue boards with titles in gold on spine; viii & 288 pages; profusely illustrated in monochrome with coloured plates. Printed on good quality glossy paper. No dust jacket.

The book is in good condition. The binding is sound. Some warping of the book, and a few marks on the covers. Tanning front and back matter. A few marks here and there internally, and a little foxing. A closed tear on the plate between pages 160/161, and a small closed tear page 233. Small repairs pages 154-159.

The book covers the following geographical areas: Polynesia & Micronesia; Melanesia & New Guinea; New Zealand, Tasmania & Australia; The Malay Peninsula & Islands; The Philippine Islands; Japan & Korea; Burma, Siam, Cambodia, Tonkin & Anam; China, Mongolia & Tibet; Irania & Turania: Persia, Afghanistan, Baluchistan, Turkestan; and India.
