The Poetical Works of Sir Walter Scott Bart

£19.99

Product description

Full leather binding with thick, heavily embossed boards. The spine has five bands with the short title in gilt.

The corners are bumped and worn with the board exposed.

Some wear, mainly around the spine, with a small tear at the top.

The joints are in good order, but the hinges are exposed where the pastedowns are torn, however the boards are still well attached to the binding with no additional looseness.

The binding is in very good condition, with many pages appearing to have not been opened fully.

A small section of the front pastedown is torn away from the board.

All page ends are git with a textured pattern.

The usual foxing to the enpapers, very little affecting the main text block except the plates, which are quite heavily stained.

There is a faded inscription on the end pastedown.
