Published 1839, it says second edition on title page. Text in Latin with English notes.

Brown patterned paper boards with leather corners and spine with gilt lettering. There Is wear on the edges of the book and spine with a little chipping top and bottom of spine (see photo). Book plate on front pastedown of previous owner.

The binding is in good order and the pages are mostly clean - but there is occasional foxing and some annotation in pencil and ink, and a couple of ink splodges on pages 313/6. Also the same ink on some corners (about 4). Corner torn off on page 53, but not as far as text.
