The Turnchapel Branch was 2.5 miles long, commencing at the former London & South Western Railway terminus of Plymouth Friary. The main Up and Down lines connected Friary with the GWR system at Friary Junction, some 74 chains to the east of the station. From there all trains to the main LSWR system enjoyed running rights over GWR' metals via Mount Gould Junction, Lipson Junction, Mutley and North Road Stations before regaining their company's own metals at Davenport Junction, 43 chains west of North Road Station.

This book is illustrated throughout with photos, maps, charts, tables etc.

A few small marks to page edges, good condition for a copy that has been read but remains clean.
All of the pages, cover and spine remain in tact. (Please see photo).

Approx. 150 pages with maps and b/w photographs within the text.
