Hardback. Quarter bound in black calfskin and red cloth. Spine gilt decoration, gilt letters on a red background starting lift from spine. Front-board, marked on the cloth, corners rubbed. Backboard clean. Faded gilt top edge, fore and bottom marbled. Used fair condition. Flyleaf inscription by a previous owner, foxed, tear at the bottom. Flyleaf and title-page foxed, tear at the bottom, Flyleaf and preface, foxed, tear at the bottom, hinge between the two cracked. Back flyleaf's and last pages foxed. Most pages are foxed with no other marks.

Publisher is: Chapman & Hall, 1873.

Rebound edition of parts 23 to 29 of the works of Charles Dickens: Household Edition, which was released in a serialisation.
Little Dorrit is a novel by Charles Dickens, originally published in serial form between 1855 and 1857. The story features Amy Dorrit, youngest child of her family, born and raised in the Marshalsea prison for debtors in London.

Darlington is one of the largest Oxfam shops in the country. We sell a large and varied range of good quality mens, womens and childrenswear in a range of labels from High Street to Designer. We also have a range of beautiful Bridalwear and Retro clothing, and a huge choice of accessories to compliment any outfit and occasion. 

On the first floor we have a large books and music room with comfortable seating provided, so that you can take your time while browsing and pick the perfect item. We have a vast and ever changing selection of Homewares and Bric-a-Brac, from bargain items to antiques and everything in between. We stock Fairtrade food and drinks, gifts and cards all year round, and we have an amazing Christmas range, with gifts to suit all tastes and budgets. 

We also run an Online Shop from our Online Suite, sending high quality clothing, books and records all over the world. We have a Facebook page, full of information on what we do in store and how your support helps fight poverty all over the world. 

We have a large and varied team of volunteers, and we are always looking for new people to join our team. We have dozens of opportunities, including Customer Service, Stock Handling, Social Media, Online Sales, Book Sales, and many, many more.
