Two issues of The Yorkshire Ramblers' Club Journal, numbers 9 and 10, published respectively in 1909 and 1910. These two issues, together with issue 11 published in 1911 (which is not present) are two of the issues that comprise Volume III of the Journal. There is also a separate, uncut, Index to all three issues of Vol. III. Each issue is in paperback format but the two issues (and the Index) are presented within loose hard covers. The hard covers, which are quite heavily stained, are cream coloured, with an illustration of mountaineers on the front cover, gilt titling to the spine, and the emblem of The Yorkshire Ramblers' Club in black on the rear cover. The word "Vol" appears on the spine without a number, so it is assumed that the hard covers were produced to contain the issues of any volume chosen by the owner. The paper covers have become unglued, and therefore detached. The individual issues have some fading to the paper covers, which are lightly creased around the edges, and have a few small marks. The rough-cut pages have dusty edges, are slightly tanned, and have only an occasional mark or light spotting. Otherwise, each issue is clean, and tightly bound.
