Here's where TRANSFORMERS, as we've come to know it today, began.

After the incredible success of the all - new G.I. Joe team. Marvel Comics and Hasbro were ready to launch another series of toys and comic books way back in 1984. Hasbro sent Marvel editor Bob Budiansky the designs of these colossal creatures and the things they could change into and Bob would dream up names, personality profiles and detailed descriptions of each characters exact powers. Upon Hasbro's final approval, plans were quickly made to launch the TRANSFORMERS in their very own four-issue limited series.

The book has an illustrated cover and white lettering to the spine.

All four outer corners of the front and rear cover have heavy wear and tear and bumping.

The upper and lower edge of the spine has bumping and wear and tear.

The front and rear endpages have black markings and foxing.

The upper outer page edges have edge wear.

The upper and lower outer edges of the rear cover have creasing.

The final page of the comic has been torn at the bottom edge.
