Vines and Vine Culture

£13.49

Product description

This fourth edition publication of Barron's original 1883 work compiles all updates from previous editions as well as new content on vines as ornamental features and information and illustrations on 'Black Rot.' The book features information on all aspects of vines, from care to cultivation to commercial use and value and includes a number of black and white illustrations and diagrams to illuminate its points.
The book itself is in good condition, showing some signs of wear, including some water/sun damage to the front cover (see pictures). Other than this, the book is in very good condition with gilt embossed cover design still bright and discernible. The interior pages are unmarked, however a previous owner has stuck a newspaper clipping regarding vine propagation to the front fly leaf. There is also signs of spotting to pages towards the front of the edition, however this does not impact upon the body of the work.
