Publisher: Paul Elek, Hatton Garden, London, 1946, translated from the French by Edmund B D'Auvergne. Hardback, 212 pages, unclipped, pictorial dustjacket, profusely illus in colour and b&w. Cover, in fawn cloth with brown titling to spine and brown drawing to front, is in good / very good and clean condition commensurate with age. Internally the book is in good / very good and clean condition commensurate with age with tight binding and no inscriptions, tears or creases. Endpapers have some foxing and pages are lightly tanned throughout, however text and the wonderful illustrations (in colour and b&w) are generally clean, clear and bright. The unclipped, pictorial dustjacket (which shows price of 25/-) is in good condition for it's age with just some light shelfwear, a little fraying to top of spine and some tanning to spine and around the edges. Overall, a nice copy of this lovely old art book in an attractive, unclipped dustjacket.
