A deft and individual talent is at work in these stories set in a small village in Mozambique. Luis Bernardo Honwana was Chief of Staff of the President of Mozambique, and was born in 1942 in Maputo.He grew up in Moamba where his father was an interpreter for the Administration. He made several documentary films, was an accomplished photographer and one of the heads of the Organisation of Mozambican Journalists. He served UNESCO in South Africa from 1995. Since retiring, he has been active in research in the arts, history and ethno-linguistics.

A paperback book in excellent condition for its age. Browning to page edges and small crease to top right corner of cover. Minor scuffing.shelf-wear to cover. Pages are tightly bound and spine intact.

Oxfam Books & Music Beeston

The Beeston books and music shop is situated near to Nottingham University, close to the city of Nottingham. There is a train station nearby. We offer a wider selection of books than most shops, from modern fiction and leisure interest to more specialist subjects, academic books, and rare or collectable items. There is a wide variety of music, including sheet music and a good selection of high quality classical, rock and pop vinyl. The volunteer team is a diverse mix from the local community, and University. We are currently recruiting for a quality control volunteer. We always welcome good quality, saleable donations which can be delivered to our rear entrance.
