Cover and book are in very good, firm, clean and bright condition with no inscriptions, marks, tears or creases. The dustjacket is in fair to good condition commensurate with age with some shelfwear / rubbing to edges and top of spine. A Shepherd's Life is the classic account of a now vanished way of life in south Wiltshire in the early 20th century. An Old Thorn is an example of Hudson the great tale teller. It is based on historical fact and records one of the last vestiges of tree-worship to survive in England.
