Working with Light-Sensitive Materials

£12.99

Product description

This book introduces, in simple terms, two areas which will be of interest to both the enthusiastic amateur and to the serious artist in Fine and Graphic Art. It takes a fresh look at photography with particular reference to what can be achieved with home-built cameras and photographic screen stencil printing. Photography and photographic screen printing are looked at together because of the unique quality they give when used and brought together. Although the book is not intended as a complete guide to photography, all the processes of black and white film developing, printing and enlarging are clearly and adequately covered. It shows stage by stage how to progress from either a hand-drawn or photographic original to eventual reproduction as screen prints on paper or material. For those interested, the entire photographic and screen processes can be duplicated without resorting to propriety packaged material.

Working with light-sensitive materials by Geoffrey Hindley. Published by Van Nostrand Reinhold 1978. 96pp. Paperback, oblong. Book condition: Good - light wear to extremities of covers, brown stain to edge of inside front cover, but tightly bound and otherwise clean throughout.
