Young Britain's Book of Farm Life [c. 1940s/50s]

£9.99

Product description

A delightful book produced by the OXO company, 'presented to the younger generation'. Undated, appears to be from the 1940s/50s.

Written by L F Easterbrook, Agricultural Correspondent of the News-Chronicle.

Around half the pages have a full page monochrome photograph of a farm activity with a facing page of text all in simple language. Includes a double fold-out colour page of an OXO ranch in South America. A fascinating insight in to mid-twentieth century farming, albeit an idealised view.

Other than some wear to the cover, in a nice clean condition with sound stapled binding.
