This is a collection of 38 Christmas stamps. All the stamps in this collection were issued in New Zealand. The pictures on the stamps show paintings of Mary and baby Jesus and scenes of the Nativity story that were painted by the artists Machiavelli, Correggio, Nicholas Poussin, Murillo, Witz, Titian, Federico Fiori, Ghiberti, Rembrandt, Carlo Marutta, El Greco, Durer and Sassoferato. The pictures on the stamps show the First Christian Service in New Zealand that was led by the Rev. Samuel Marsden. The pictures on the stamps show the Christmas Carol "Away In A Manger", the Three Wise Men, the Christmas Carol "Hark The Herald Angels Sing", the New Zealand Christmas Tree the Pohutukawa, the Christmas Carol "The Partridge In A Pear Tree", St Patrick's Church in Greymouth, the Christmas Carol "We Three Kings of Orient", the Christmas Carol "the Three Ships", Life Saving with men in a boat, Children playing Cricket on a beach on Christmas Day, Angels singing, A House in New Zealand with a Christmas Tree in the window, reindeer flying across the sky, and a couple having a picnic outside surrounded by mountains. The oldest stamp in this collection was issued in 1961. The newest stamp in this collection was issued in 2013. The decades that the stamps in this collection were issued in are the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, 2000s and 2010s. Some of the stamps in this collection are unused. Many of the used stamps have a clearly shown printed postmark on them. The stamps in this collection are in a good condition.
