This is a lovely two piece knitted suit made by Glenmac of Hawick, Scotland for Jane Walker, Newcastle upon Tyne.
Both the cardigan and skirt are made from pure new wool.
The cardigan has a collar with notched lapels.
Front button opening - the metal buttons feature signs from the zodiac.
Two front pockets.
There is no size information.
The armpit to armpit measurement is 22in/56cm; length from nape to hem is approximately 23in/58cm; outside sleeve measurement is about 19in/48cm
The skirt has a slightly elasticated waistband.
Side zip and hook and eye fastening.
Fully lined.
Again no size information.
Waist is approximately 31in/79cm; length from waist to hem is about 26in/66cm.

Oxfam Shop Hexham

Hexham is a market town in south Northumberland. It has many historic buildings (such as the Abbey dating from 674), a beautiful park and a recently constructed swimming pool and leisure centre. Market day is Tuesday and there is a Farmers' Market on the second Saturday of the month. There is easy access to Hadrian's Wall and Roman sites such as Chesters, Housesteads and the Temple of Mithras at Carrawburgh.

Our shop is centrally located and we sell clothes, homewares, toys and crafting items. We also sell a new product range including stationery and eco friendly cleaning products.
