Take on Trailtrekker 2015

It is with great sadness we announce that Trailtrekker will not be taking place in 2016.

Over its seven years Trailtrekker has seen more than 5,000 people tackle the challenge who have together raised more than £2m for Oxfam. We have truly loved hosting the event and will dearly miss it.

£2,000,000 raised

393,000km walked

Thank you for being a
part of this.

Over the last seven years, Oxfam Trailtrekker has become one of the most loved 100km events in the UK. While the level of enjoyment of the event continues to grow year on year, unfortunately the numbers taking on the challenge have been declining. As such, it is with great sadness that we have to announce that Trailtrekker will not take place in 2016. The reason we put on these extraordinary events is to raise money for our vital work, anything we spend is very carefully considered and needs to give us a healthy return on our investment. This is the only reason we are no longer able to continue with Trailtrekker. This is not a decision that has been made quickly or lightly. We have looked at every possible way that the event could happen but ultimately the funds raised must be the primary consideration so that Oxfam GB can continue with its aim to end poverty.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has been brave enough to take on the challenge, who has volunteered and who has come along to support. There is no way we could have done it without you. Trailtrekker has raised more than £2,000,000 over the last seven years. The money you have raised has been used to improve lives around the world. Thank you for giving your time to Oxfam.
