Syria Humanitarian Crisis
More people have been forced to flee their homes in Syria than in any other country.
After years of civil war, people continue to face significant challenges. Millions of people need humanitarian assistance. Many live in overcrowded camps where there is little food or clean water.

We used to spend a significant amount every month on clean water. Buying 5,000 litres of water could cost up to 200,000 Syrian pounds, which strained our finances.”
Ali, a farmworker from Aleppo and father of eight, used to face the cost and worry of buying water in tanks due to the absence of a water network.
Thanks to Oxfam in Syria's initiative to extend a 465-metre water line to Ali's village, clean water now flows directly to his home.
