Sign the petition demanding action on hunger

Thanks for taking action

On Sunday 12 August, world leaders met at Downing Street in London to discuss hunger and nutrition. They were joined by several sporting stars, including British gold medalist Mo Farah. If you signed the petition to demand action on global hunger, thank you. We delivered over 588,000 signatures - including yours - to No. 10 shortly before the summit to show the politicians that we're watching.

A joint statement signed by ten leading charities, including Oxfam, praised Prime Minister Cameron's leadership but urged him to take further steps on this issue over the coming year.

The charities said:

"At a time when the World's spotlight is on Britain, we have shown as a nation not only that we can stage the greatest Olympics in history, but that we believe in a legacy for the games which is about more than medals and arenas."

You can read our blog about what happened at the summit, or watch a video of what happened over on Channel 4's website.
