REACTION: President Trump announces US will un-sign Arms Trade Treaty

“President Trump’s decision to un-sign the Arms Trade Treaty is one more misguided step to dismantle the international partnerships that keep us all safe.

“President Trump is sending a clear message to civilians caught in the crossfire in conflicts like Yemen: we don’t care.

“We hope the UK government will join others in condemning this decision and standing firm in their support for the Arms Trade Treaty which was developed to keep deadly weapons out of the hands of those who may use them to commit genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes.”
