Anam Parvez is the Head of Research at Oxfam GB. She leads, defines and implements a research agenda across three key areas. These are Climate Justice, Fragility and Conflict and Valuing Women’s work.
In particular, her research focus areas include social norms, gender and macroeconomic policies and ending violence against women and girls (eVAWG).
She also supports building Oxfam’s space to deliver intersectional feminist and decolonial research and mainstream a gender perspective in all research and policy.
Anam has co-authored two of Oxfam’s flagship inequality reports, “Public Good or Private Wealth” and “Time to Care” and has produced guidelines for effectively integrating gender analysis in research.
