During November and December 2025, new regular givers to Oxfam received a candy cane decoration, handmade by women in India who are pioneering fair wages.

Every decoration tells a story of craft, care, and change

Every day, women artisans at Fair Trade organisation, Sasha, give discarded saris and natural fibres new life by crafting them into beautiful handmade decorations. They’re keeping traditional skills alive, reducing waste, and shaping workplaces that are safe and fair.

Each tree decoration is a reminder that you’re standing alongside the women at Sasha as they:

  • earn fair wages
  • take on leadership roles
  • build stronger futures for their families and communities.

This isn’t just a festive decoration – it’s a symbol of the change that women at Sasha are creating for their families and communities.

What your ongoing gift will support

Regular gifts from you help support communities around the world who are facing huge ongoing challenges – from limited access to clean water and ways to earn a living, to the devastating effects of conflict and climate change.
