Oxfam is launching a Rainbow Pride collection in its shops as a celebration of diversity and inclusion for the Pride month in June.

The new Pride range includes a variety of products such as mugs, travel cups, shopping totes, keyrings, greeting cards and even door wreaths. Oxfam designed and curated the collection working with existing product suppliers.

Proceeds from Oxfam’s Pride collection will support projects with LGBTQIA+ people around the world, like in Ukraine, where communities face discrimination and homophobic attacks amid the ongoing conflict. Oxfam are working with Gay Alliance Ukraine who provide legal and psychological support to people in the country, and with partner organisations in neighbouring countries supporting LGBTQIA+ refugees.

Kevin Spencer, Oxfam retail spokesperson, said: “We’re so proud that we’re launching our first ever Pride collection that will raise money to support LGBTQIA+ people across the world. As an organisation we work very hard to promote their rights and help them to tackle the discrimination and poverty they may be experiencing.”

The idea of a Pride collection emerged from last year’s big success of Oxfam’s Pride posters designed to be inclusive and welcoming for LGBTQIA+ people. They were displayed in Oxfam’s stores and triggered a big interest.

Kevin Spencer said: “Our volunteers, customers and supporters absolutely loved it and some people even wanted to buy it! We worked really quickly to get the poster up for sale on our online shop and our Sourced by Oxfam team started to work with our suppliers to create this year’s collection.”

The official launch of the Pride retail range will take place at the Oxfam Superstore in Oxford on 1st June. The launch party will feature a performance from a local drag act Lady B, Queen of the Spires.

The Pride range is available in Oxfam’s online shop as well.
