Oxfam responds to government's Integrated Review

Responding to the launch of the Government’s Integrated Review, Danny Sriskandarajah, Oxfam GB Chief Executive, said:

“The government’s increased focus on tackling climate change and sustainable development is welcome and a marked improvement on the last Integrated Review.

“However, at its heart is the hard fact that the government is choosing to increase defence spending, while cutting aid. The injustices of poverty, inequality and climate breakdown – the sources of so much instability and violence in the world – demand far greater action and investment.”
