Our work breaks down into three areas, all vital to achieving our aims.
Emergency response: we respond quickly to emergencies like the Ebola crisis: providing life-saving help like safe water and hygiene kits.
Development: we fund long-term work to help local people use their own ideas and skills: fighting poverty in their communities.
Campaigning: poverty isn't just about lack of resources: it's about bad decisions made by powerful people. Oxfam campaigns hard for real lasting change.
