About this Event
Clear Space For Me is a decluttering and organisation service based in Oxfordshire. Clear Space for Me helps people make their home the most effective living space possible. Participants will meet in a small group to have a structured conversation together about clutter in their homes. Setting small personal goals, looking at the skills needed to bring these to completion, sharing experiences (both good and bad) and learning how to solve these problems. The workshop is collaborative and supportive aiming to make a little headway in situations which may have been endured for a while. Participants will be introduced to other sources of help and literature to continue this journey after the workshop has finished.
A donation from all ticket sales will be given to Oxfam.
Note from Oxfam: "Please note this is not a fundraising event and ticket fees will go towards paying for facilitator, Eventbrite/Oxford Etsy booking fees and promotion. Any remainder will be donated to Oxfam by Oxford Etsy."

Cath Tate Cards Talk for International Women's Day / 5 March 2020 11.00-12.00
Cath Tate founded Cath Tate Cards in 1982 and for nearly 40 years has produced feminist, anti-war and environmentally friendly cards which have reflected our changing world. In 2017 she helped to curate an exhibition at the Cartoon Museum in London showing the work of women cartoonists over the past 250 years. This led to 'The Inking Woman' book in 2018 which she co-authored.
Hear how Cath Tate started and see original copies of her early cards, books and calendars. See also the latest cards, reflecting the concerns of today, many of which are for sale in Oxfam shops all around the country.
