E-Commerce Volunteer

Oxfam shops are at the forefront in campaigning for sustainable fashion. Since it opened in 1974 Oxfam has been championing second hand and as well as our high street shops we have the Oxfam Online Shop full of treasures. Over 100,000 unique items listed on our Online Shop!

Every day, our incredible shop teams within many of our high street shops, and two online hubs, work extremely hard to photograph, price and upload items onto our online shop. Each item is completely unique - so once it’s gone, it really has gone!

• Selecting, sorting, and pricing donated stock
• Researching valuable and vintage stock
• Photographing and listing items for the online shop
• Describing items for online listings
• Preparing items for postage and dispatch

This role may include occasionally lifting boxes. We prioritise a safe working environment and provide comprehensive health and safety training to all volunteers.

You do not need specific skills and experience but the following will be useful:

• Happy to be part of a team
• Excited to learn new skills
• Basic IT skills
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail

• Some lunch and travel costs paid (speak to the Manager first to understand what is covered)

After your chat with the manager and reference checks, you can choose a start date.
