How to help Gaza: Make your voice heard

Over 2 million people in Gaza are suffering the unimaginable consequences of a relentless Israeli military offensive and blockade of food, water and lifesaving essentials.

An immediate and permanent ceasefire is the most important first step, accompanied by full access for vital humanitarian aid.

Do you want to know how to help Gaza?

Here are some ways you can stand in solidarity and make your voice heard.

Sign the petition: call for a ceasefire now

Your voice matters, and our collective voice is powerful.

Join us in calling for an immediate and permanent ceasefire.

  • Call for an end to the blockade that is preventing Palestinians in Gaza from accessing food, fuel, water and lifesaving essentials.
  • Call for the protection of all civilians, including the unconditional release of all hostages.
  • Call for a path to real and lasting peace and justice for Palestinian and Israeli people.

By keeping the pressure up together we have the best chance of convincing the UK government and the international community to do everything they can to help bring an end to this catastrophic crisis.

The continuing Israeli bombardment and restrictions on access to Gaza has made any kind of large scale humanitarian response impossible.

Israel is using food and water as weapons of war, and intentionally blocking aid from entering Gaza and reaching the 2.1 million Palestinians in desperate need of basic resources, shelter and safety.

Despite huge obstacles, we’ve been responding with our partners, including The Palestinian Medical Relief Society, Juzoor, The Cultural & Free Thoughts Association, and Palestinian Environmental Friends.

Together, we have provided:

  • Emergency food assistance, including fresh vegetable baskets, food parcels, cash and vouchers to over 200,000 people.
  • Clean water and sanitation for over 133,000 people, by trucking in water and repairing badly damaged water and wastewater pipelines, as well as installing desalination units, water bladders and tap stands.
  • First aid kits and services to support around 20,000 people in refugee camps, as well as 600 urgent family health packages, 400 hygiene kits and 3,000 protection kits.

And much more. As soon as a ceasefire is in place and crossings into Gaza are re-opened, we will work with partners to scale up our humanitarian response.

We are looking for a ceasefire. We are looking for humanitarian aid to support the resilience of the people in the Gaza Strip.”

A replica bomb that says 'stop arming Israel' on it surrounded by red and yellow flowers outside UK parliament.

The situation in Gaza is getting worse every day. Unimaginable violence continues. It's shocking that the UK has fuelled the horrific attacks against civilians by continuing to allow arms sales to Israel, despite knowing they’re likely being used to commit war crimes in Gaza.

Join us in telling the new government to use its power to end all arms sales to Israel now. Until it does so, the UK will continue to be complicit in the killing of civilians in Gaza. Ending arms sales would also send a powerful message that the government is serious about supporting an immediate and permanent ceasefire.
