Oxfam Superstore Oxford

The Oxfam Superstore is so much more than a shop. You're sure to find a fabulous bargain inside. It's filled with one-of-a-kind finds, handcrafted gifts, homeware and more, both donated and from our own Sourced by Oxfam range. It's even home to a café inside an Oxfam water tank!

If you have a lot of items (more than six bags or boxes), just give us a quick call at the store first to make sure we can accept them. Sometimes, we must limit donations due to space, but we’ll do our best to accommodate you!

To help us make the most of your generous donations, we’d appreciate it if you could:

  1. Sort Items by Category - It’s super helpful if you can separate your donations into groups like clothing, homewares, books, music, and linens. This makes it easier for us to process everything quickly and keeps our team safe. Please remember not to wrap fragile items in clothes or other fabrics.
  2. Keep Bags Manageable - Please make sure your boxes and bags are easy to carry. If they feel heavy, don’t worry! We have extra containers available to help you transfer your items. Just ask, and we’ll be happy to assist!
  3. Use Bags/Boxes We Can Keep - We love reusing your bags and boxes! It helps us with sorting and distributing items to other Oxfam shops, so please bring in those that we can hold onto.
  4. Clean Your Items - We’re unable to sell dirty or damaged items, so giving your donations a little freshening up before bringing them in really helps us out. It lets us process things faster and boosts the funds we can raise for Oxfam!

5. For furniture donations - please can you arrange through https://oxfamapps.org.uk/donate-furniture/ providing us with pictures and we will contact you if we need more information.

Please do not donate: Large white goods, gas appliances, microwaves, electric heaters, computer hard drives, printers, mobile phones, sports equipment and used personal hygiene items.

Café

Our café is now open Tuesday - Friday 10am - 3pm, Saturday 9.30am - 5pm and Sunday 10.30am - 3.30pm.
