Remember a Charity Week 2025

Together with Remember a Charity, we’re encouraging everyone to take a moment to think about the legacy they want to leave. After family and friends are taken care of, will you leave a gift in your Will to Oxfam and stay in the fight for a fairer future?

What is Remember a Charity Week?

Every September, Remember a Charity organises Remember a Charity Week to help raise awareness about the importance of leaving a gift in your Will.

Many people aren’t aware that they can support charities in this way, but it can be a powerful way to make a lasting impact.

By supporting Remember a Charity Week, we want to encourage everyone to consider leaving a gift in their Will to a charity close to their heart.

When is Remember a Charity Week 2025?

This year’s Remember a Charity Week runs from Monday 8th to Sunday 14th September 2025.

How can I remember a charity in my Will?

There are three ways to include a charity in your Will. You can leave:

  • a fixed amount of money
  • a percentage of your estate
  • an item or property

Your solicitor will be able to help you decide which option is best for you. It’s a quick and straightforward process, but it can make a big difference.

Leaving a gift in your Will to Oxfam

Leave a gift in your Will to support millions of people around the globe fighting poverty and injustice every day.

Your gift will leave a lasting legacy and ensure the next generation of change-makers never have to give up the fight for a fairer world.
