Verina's London Marathon

Verina speaks about running the 2019 Virgin Money London Marathon in aid of Oxfam.

Run the London Marathon with Team Oxfam you could help us be there in an emergency or where communities need us most to build or repair water points and organise water committees to oversee them. Each of you could help us provide safe and clean water to 2000 people – It’s easy to forget what a miracle water is with free bottles of water lining the London Marathon route at every mile.

"The London Marathon 2018 was an unforgettable emotional roller coaster with an immense feeling of love... for the city, the supporters and fellow runners. I was so humbled by the crowd and by the people running against all odds. I'd urge anyone thinking of running a marathon to pick London - incredible sights along the way...Greenwich... Cutty Sark... Tower Bridge...Embankment and finally Big Ben and Buckingham palace. Nothing can compare to the feeling of running down the Mall and crossing the finish line, one of the proudest moments of my life."
Bella, 2018 London Marathon runner
