We demand that governments and world leaders:
- Implement polluter pays taxes on the largest polluters, such as large corporations and fossil fuel companies.
- Implement wealth taxes on super-rich individuals.
- Close tax loopholes that let polluters avoid responsibility.
- Ensure funds reach communities hit hardest by floods, wildfires, and extreme weather.
- Fund a just transition to a fairer, greener economy that works for everyone.
Together, we can raise the trillions needed to tackle the climate crisis – but only if the richest polluters pay.
This is a justice issue. Frontline communities are facing the impacts and bearing the heaviest costs, all whilst the richest people and largest corporations are plundering the planet and polluting for profit. But there is hope if we stick together.
Nepal has contributed just 0.1% of global emissions, yet its communities are bearing the devastating consequences of the climate emergency.
This will not be the last climate-related disaster of its kind. Climate change has no borders.
Those who have done the most to fuel the climate crisis have a responsibility to help communities recover and prepare for future shocks.
The world's biggest polluters must pay their fair share for the loss and damage caused by climate change.
We can build a fair, sustainable future where communities thrive, not just survive.
Every signature counts, helps us push for ambitious political action, and joins us together as a movement that demands accountability.
Sign today, and let’s make polluters pay – together, we can win.
