A quotation by which I live by:

'You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step' Martin Luther King.

A book I swear by:

What It Takes: The Way to the White House a critically acclaimed non-fiction book by Richard Ben Cramer. It's widely considered a masterpiece of political journalism. I didn't want it to end. I had to ration my reading so it would last longer!

A song I’d dance my last dance on earth to:

Ride on Time - Black Box

What inspired you to join Oxfam?

Oxfam holds a unique place in public and political life because it has consistently shown the courage to question and challenge power in pursuit of a fairer, more equal world. Today, as rights are rolled back, International Humanitarian Law is undermined, and the far-right gains ground around the world, that courage is needed more than ever. Oxfam’s impact is undeniable and a reminder that meaningful change is still possible. The dedication of its people – from retail teams to communities around the world, and supporters across the country – reflects our shared responsibility to one another and the power of what connects us.
