No more radio silence

Join a movement of people raising their voices.

Hidden crises are happening across the world. In Sudan. DR Congo. Bangladesh. Schools and hospitals bombed. Whole civilisations starved. Millions fleeing homes with nowhere to go. When it comes to these crises, world leaders, the media and global institutions are choosing radio silence. That’s their choice. But it’s not ours.

The first step is to turn up

Turn up the volume on (No More) Radio Silence. Starting life with recordings from the fields of Glastonbury Festival, and created in collaboration with artists from Sudan, Palestine and the Democratic Republic of Congo, who have taken inspiration from their own stories and experiences, to make an awesome track. It’s a call for unity, visibility and resistance. The world needs to hear it.

The second step is to tune in

Join the people's frequency, sign up to access an exciting new platform, that’s our answer to radio silence. Discover the stories behind the (No More) Radio Silence track. Get the facts that news sites and social media are silencing and find out how to take action for a fairer world.

You'll be joining a movement of people speaking out, helping to end the radio silence about conflict and devastation in places such as Sudan, DRC and Myanmar. Learn how to amplify the stories of people facing and fighting crises, so that leaders have to act.

Bringing together music and audio from communities affected by crises, alongside updates, explainers and ways to support Oxfam’s work. An alternative channel, rooted in solidarity and resistance. And you should be part of it.

The people who choose what stories we hear – they need us overwhelmed, disconnected and disempowered. But we’re ready to cut through the noise, reconnect, and take action.
