Family Defense Society
In the Occupied Palestinian Territory, war and instability have worsened gender-based violence and created new risks for women, girls, and vulnerable groups.
The Family Defense Society (FDS), based in the West Bank, helps women, children, and survivors of gender-based violence reclaim their lives. FDS was a partner of the Women's Rights Fund from 2020 to 2024.
WEFAQ Society for Women and Child Care
WEFAQ Society for Women and Child Care, based in Gaza, work on strengthening the resilience of women survivors of violence in the Occupied Palestinian Territory. They were a partner of the Women's Rights Fund from 2021 to 2025.
Indigenous Resource Management Organization (IREMO)
Indigenous Resource Management Organization (IREMO) is a community-based organisation in Marsabit, northern Kenya. They support vulnerable women and girls with access to health, education and employment.
They also help the community to respond to severe drought and advocate for the representation of women in political leadership. IREMO was a partner of the Women's Rights Fund from 2021 to 2025.
