Lisa's belief in fairness made the world better. It still does.”

Matt's story
When Matt lost his beloved sister Lisa to cancer in 2023, he wanted to honour the incredible person she was in a way that reflected her values. Just months later, he took on the 2024 London Marathon for Oxfam, raising almost £2,800 in her memory.
For Matt, every mile was a tribute to Lisa. And by supporting Oxfam, he's ensuring the compassion, positivity and kindness she brought to the world continue to make a difference for others.

Lisa's outfit inspired Matt to wear a pink tutu when he ran the London Marathon 2024 to raise funds for Oxfam in his sister's memory.
Keeping Lisa's values alive
“People like Lisa can live on through raising money. We don't forget her, but I don't want anyone else to.”
