Give now, Save lives.
Philippines Typhoon Rai Appeal
Super Typhoon Rai has devastated huge areas of the Philippines affecting more than 2.6 million people. We must act now to save lives.
More than 600,000 people have been made homeless by the Super Typhoon, which is the strongest tropical cyclone to hit the Philippines this year. Oxfam teams and local partner organisations are already on the ground and will be responding with emergency water and shelter as well as food and other essential items.
In some of the most challenging conditions imaginable, we are working around the clock to make sure this vital work happens as quickly and effectively as possible.
We urgently need your help.

People also have to worry about the risks of COVID-19 in evacuation centres. The sooner we provide shelter kits and repair materials, the safer they will be.”

How we spend your money
For every £1 you donate to this emergency appeal, we will allocate 9p of your donation to cover general support and running costs. There is a small chance that we will raise more money than is needed for this appeal. If this happens, we'll spend any additional funds on other Oxfam projects – wherever the need is greatest.
