"As an organisation which has worked for so long to support the struggle for women's rights, our first duty now must be to ensure that our vital work takes place in a safe and secure environment for those we serve."
Mark Goldring, CEO (2013-18), Oxfam GB
Since February, we've changed how we protect staff, volunteers and the people we work with worldwide. Take a look at our latest update to see the progress we've made.
We responded to 49 emergencies and delivered life-saving aid to millions of people.
We convinced 131 MPs to back a new bill that would make it easier for refugee families to be reunited.
We set up a sustainable water supply for 700,000 people affected by conflict in DR Congo and rebuilt earthquake-hit water systems for 35,000 people in Nepal.
We got 42,000 people to support our tax campaign and persuade parliament to pass legislation to help end the secrecy which fuels corporate tax avoidance and deprives poor countries of vital funds.
